Profile Balázs Rapcsák
Balázs Rapcsák studied at the Corvinus University of Budapest, the Eötvös Loránd University and the Freie Universität Berlin, obtaining an MA in International Relations and a second MA in Literary Studies and Aesthetics. He is currently writing his doctoral dissertation on Beckett’s Media System: A Comparative Study in Multimediality funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation. He has taught undergraduate courses at the Department of English and co-taught a MOOC (Reading Literature in the Digital Age) with his PhD supervisor, Prof. Dr. Philipp Schweighauser. From September–December 2016 Balázs Rapcsák was a Visiting Fellow at the Beckett International Foundation at the University of Reading. He also works as a freelance translator.
