Sof wrote their PhD thesis on the exciting, topical comparativist (Americanist/Slavic) theme of far-right American and Russian literature. It is entitled Far-Right Fictions and Authoritarian Authors: A Comparative Analysis of Contemporary Russian and US American Far-Right Literature and Its Producers, 2010-2020 and was supervised by Prof. Philipp Schweighauser and Prof. Boris Noordenbos (Amsterdam). Sof’s doctoral research was funded by a Doc.CH grant of the Swiss National Science Foundation.
