From Yiddish to English: How the bagel came to America
PD Dr. Julia Landmann has investigated which Yiddish words successfully made their way into the English language.
Her findings have now been published in an article in the anthology Keys to the History of English and an article on her research has been written for Uni Basel's News webpage.
