Kollegienhaus & Englisches Seminar (Grosser Hörsaal)

From 9am to 2pm we staff an information stand at the Kollegiengebäude, where you can inform yourself about what studying English entails, ask our fabulous staff anything you ever wanted to know about the English language or its literatures, test your knowledge in a quiz and maybe even win the prize we give away at the end of each of the two presentations in the afternoon.
Said presentations are titled “Studying English: From the Daily Show to Harry Potter” and are taking place in the afternoon (at 14:45 and 15:45) in the Great Lecture Hall at the English Seminar (Nadelberg 6). They give you a glimpse into what it means to study English and do research in English linguistics and English literatures. Just come by and see for yourself!
