75th anniversary of SAUTE
We will celebrate the 75th anniversary of SAUTE (Swiss Association of University Teachers of English) with brief talks about British and Irish Life in Basel, a lecture on the centenary of the publication of James Joyce's Ulysses, dance, music and a party.
The lecture will be given by our esteemed colleague Prof. Michelle Witen from the University of Flensburg, formerly Basel, who will surely be fondly remembered by many of you. The evening’s line-up will also include the Alumni band The Literati, led by Andrew Shields.
