Mad Moll's Revue: Staging the Renaissance

A workshop performance of excerpts from four early modern plays

Performed and staged by students from the course Staging the Renaissance: From the Tavern to the Castle, they will present a selection of scenes from

  • The Spanish Tragedy by Thomas Kyd (1587)
  • As You Like It by William Shakespeare (1599)
  • The Roaring Girl by Thomas Dekker and Thomas Middleton (1611)
  • The Duchess of Malfi by John Webster (1613)

The event will start in the English Seminar's courtyard before moving to the cellar theatre. If you would like to join, please reserve a spot here. There is no admission fee, but we need to keep an eye on numbers in the courtyard. The performance is expected to run for approx. 45 minutes and the audience will remain standing throughout.
