People
The research and teaching staff of the Department of English (Englisches Seminar) comprises about 20 full-time and part-time instructors that provide an education at a high level of excellence. The four chairs cover the Linguistics of English, Cognitive Linguistics and Language Acquisition Research, English Literature since the Renaissance, and American and General Literatures. Our research community is further strengthened by project staff, associated researchers, and administration.
